We offer classes for students aged 8 and above, and there is no maximum age. Our programs are separated so that children and families train together, and teens and adults in a separate class. You can book in for your two free classes at the bottom of this page. Younger students aged 6 to 7 may still be accepted, but must first undergo a brief assessment.

It is important that you feel comfortable training at our karate school, so your first two trial lessons are free with no obligations, and will allow you to see if karate and our school is for you. Our aim is to build mind, body and character through traditional martial arts for the modern world.

We have several classes available at our dojo in Mitchell (Gungahlin) that are suitable for beginners of all ages - please check our class timetable for exact details. We also welcome parents to train in the same class as their children. If you'd like to know what our classes involve (and see some videos), visit our class info page or read our student testimonials to find out what they say about our classes. We also offer a large range of student development programs.

Our dojo is not a commercial school, and while we encourage everyone to enquire about joining and starting martial arts, we only accept those who will be serious and dedicated to their training as students, and are happy to recommend other dojo to you if we are not the appropriate school for you. All students are required to commit to training at least twice per week.

If you have any questions, we've tried to make our website as comprehensive as possible, so you might find the answer on one of the pages that are linked at the top of this page.
